Sustainable fashion gets to be beautiful, but it is also necessary.

Currently, humanity is using the equivalent of 1.6 Earths to maintain our ways of life.
Did you know that an equivalent of one garbage truck full of clothes is burned or dumped in a landfill every second?
The bottom line is: the way that we eat, travel, and clothe ourselves is hurting our world. If current trends continue, especially with the popularity of fast fashion brands, textile waste is projected to increase by 45%. Investments in nature-based solutions will need to at least triple by 2030 if the world is to meet the climate change and land degradation goals committed to in the Paris Agreement.
Many thrift stores and donation centers are overwhelmed by items they can't resell, and much of this excess ends up being shipped overseas, where it often becomes waste in other countries. To address this growing issue, we urgently need local systems for diverting textiles from landfills. Kimora Garden is committed to making sustainable shopping more accessible and desirable than the habit of buying fast fashion without intention.
